  • Present it at the moment of delight. A review request lands best right after a good experience — the check drop, the finished haircut, the handed-over bag. Place the code where that moment happens, not just by the exit, so a staff member can nod to it with a quick "a Google review really helps us."
  • Never offer a discount for leaving a review. Google prohibits incentivizing reviews, and gated "only 5-star reviews go to Google" funnels violate its policy too. Point every customer to the same honest review link.
