Last updated: 2026-08-02. Welcome to CodeQR.io ("site"), which is hosted by CodeQR ("CodeQR", "we", "our" and/or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Service Usage
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you declare and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
User Account
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
User Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Interfere with or harm the operation of the Service.
- Send spam, unsolicited advertisements, or other forms of solicitation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
- Use the Service for phishing, distributing malware, or any other deceptive or fraudulent scheme.
Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse
To keep the Service safe, we scan destination URLs for security threats such as phishing and malware. We may suspend or ban accounts, and disable or remove short links, QR codes and pages, that violate these Terms or our acceptable use rules. You can report abusive content at codeqr.io/abuse.
Payments and Subscriptions
Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service may be available through paid subscription. If you choose a subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions may be charged on a recurring basis, and you authorize CodeQR to automatically charge the provided payment method.
Price Changes
Your subscription price stays fixed for each billing cycle you have already paid for. We may change the prices that apply to future cycles. If we do, we will email you at least 30 days before your renewal date, stating your current price, the new price, the date it takes effect and how to cancel. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before that date at no cost, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you already paid for. No price change applies to a cycle you have already paid for.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. However, we do not offer refunds for already paid subscription periods.
Data Processing
When visitors interact with the short links, QR codes and pages you create, CodeQR processes visitor event data on your behalf, acting as a processor; you are the controller of that data. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available at codeqr.io/legal/dpa, is incorporated into these Terms by reference and applies whenever we process personal data on your behalf. You are responsible for having a valid legal basis for the data you collect through the Service and for providing any required notices to your visitors.
Intellectual Property
Property Rights
The Service and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software, are owned by CodeQR or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan, including for your business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent any part of the Service or its underlying software.
Warranty Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Liability Limitation
IN NO EVENT SHALL CODEQR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeQR, its directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney fees, arising from or in any way related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation, if you violate these Terms. After termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the country where CodeQR is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy (codeqr.io/privacy) and Cookie Policy (codeqr.io/cookies) describe how we handle personal data and cookies, and form part of these Terms. By using the Service, you also agree to them.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify or replace these Terms. If a change is material — for example, if it affects your rights, our fees or how we handle your data — we will notify you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date at no cost. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
