How commissions and payouts work
Commission rate, when a referral counts, recurring duration, holding period, and payout frequency.

Commission rate and duration
- Rate: You earn 30% of the revenue from each payment made by a customer you referred.
- Recurring: Commission is paid for every payment the referred customer makes (e.g. each monthly or yearly subscription payment), not only the first one.
- Duration: Commissions are paid for up to 12 months from the referred customer’s first payment. After 12 months, no further commission is earned from that customer.
- Qualified conversion: A referral counts when someone clicks your referral link, signs up for CodeQR, and subscribes to a paid plan. Free plans do not generate commission. CodeQR determines in good faith whether a conversion qualifies.
Holding period
Before a commission is eligible for payout, it is held for 30 days. This holding period helps protect against refunds or chargebacks. After 30 days, the commission is added to your balance and can be paid out in the next payout cycle.
When payouts run
Payouts are processed on a monthly schedule. Eligible commissions (those past the 30-day holding period) are included in the next payout. You receive payouts via PayPal once you have connected your PayPal account in Account → Referrals.
Minimum payout
If your program has a minimum payout amount, your balance must reach that amount before a payout is sent. Amounts below the minimum roll over to the next period. Check the Referrals page or the Affiliate Program Terms
